For all Bookings made February 5, 2024 and later:
Cancellation Policy for Seaside Vacations & Sales
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate our guests to the best of our ability. Please carefully review our cancellation policy below for reservations made with Seaside Vacations & Sales.
Cancellation 60 days (or more) prior to arrival date:
A full refund, minus a $399 cancellation fee or 25% of the rent amount, (whichever is the lesser amount), will be issued for cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Travel Insurance is non-refundable.
Cancellations Less Than 60 Days prior to arrival date:
For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to arrival date, a refund will ONLY be issued if the property rebooks at the same rental rate, minus 16% of the rent and the Reservation Processing Fee.
Method of Refund:
Refunds, after deducting the cancellation fee and any non-refundable fees such as Travel Insurance, will be issued through the same method of payment used for the original reservation.
No Shows:
In the event of a no-show without prior cancellation according to our policy, no refund will be issued.
Force Majeure:
In the rare event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, government-imposed travel restrictions, or other force majeure events, Seaside Vacations & Sales reserves the right to modify or waive the cancellation policy.
Communication of Cancellation:
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to vacations@seasidevacations.rentals. The cancellation date will be determined based on the date and time of the email.
Travel Insurance:
We strongly recommend that guests consider purchasing Red Sky Travel Insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may lead to cancellations.

For all Bookings prior to February 5, 2024 Our Cancellation Policy is stated below:
Cancellation Policy - Guest may cancel this Agreement only in accordance with the terms and conditions of this provision. Any cancellations (whether timely or untimely as specified below) must be delivered to Agent in writing either by electronic mail to 6693 Maddox Blvd, Chincoteague, VA 23336, by facsimile 844-662-2583 or by electronic mail to vacations@seasidevacations.rentals and shall not be effective otherwise. For the purposes of this Agreement, the term “cancellation” includes any transfer at the Guest’s request (if approved by Seaside Vacations) from the rental of the Property to another vacation property. Agent shall, in the event of a cancellation, take reasonable steps to re- rent the Property in order to mitigate any loss.
a. If, in the event of either a timely or untimely cancellation, Agent is able to re-rent the Property for the same dates of occupancy and for at least the same amount of rent, Guest will be entitled to a refund of all amounts paid under this Agreement, less a liquidated damage amount of sixteen percent (16%) of the total rental amount (as compensation to Agent and Owner for time and expense associated with efforts to re-rent the Property, which Guest agrees is proportionate to what actual costs may be), and less the Processing Fee (which Guest agrees has been earned by Agent for services already rendered).
b. If, in the event of either a timely or untimely cancellation, Agent is able to re-rent the Property for the same dates of stay, but only for a lesser amount (or for a shorter duration), then Guest will be entitled to a refund of all amounts paid under this Agreement, less a liquidated damage amount of sixteen percent (16%) of the total rental amount (as compensation to Agent and Owner for time and expense associated with efforts to re-rent the Property, which Guest agrees is proportionate to what actual costs may be), less the Processing Fee (which Guest agrees has been earned by Agent for services already rendered), and less the difference between the amount paid or to be paid under the original booking and the amount of rent revenue actually earned from the re- booking.
c. If Guest cancels thirty (30) days or more in advance of the scheduled Check-In date, and Agent is unable to re-rent the Property for the same dates of stay, Guest will forfeit all paid deposits up to thirty-five percent (35%) of the total rental amount, plus the Processing Fee, and any other amounts collected from the Guest will be returned to the Guest.
d. If Guest cancels less than thirty (30) days in advance of the scheduled Check-In date, and Agent is unable to re-rent the Property for the same dates of stay, Guest will be responsible for the full rental amount due under this Agreement, plus the Processing Fee, and Guest shall forfeit any and all monies already paid or deposited for the rental.
