I have been with Seaside Vacations for many years now and could not be happier. As an owner of several upscale rental properties in Ocean City, Maryland, I couldn’t be happier with the exceptional service provided by Seaside (shoutout to Jason McConnell and Dorothy Cobain and their Ocean City MD team!). They are incredibly responsive and attentive to every detail, both in and off season, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. Their proactive updates and clear communication keep me well-informed without needing to micromanage, allowing me to be almost completely hands-off. It is rare to have that level of trust but they have earned that trust over the years we have worked with them. It’s clear the entire team at Seaside genuinely cares about their clients and properties, and their professionalism is unmatched. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and efficient property management!

When we decided to rent our Island home during the summer months, we wanted a Property Manager who understands how important it is to us that our guests experience the same feelings of serenity and comfort that we feel when we are there.  This requires not just thoughtfulness and care, but attention to those details that make a stay truly special.

 

Seaside Vacation Rentals is all that and more.  Elaine and Lance treat our house like it was their own.  They are not just responsive; they are proactive in identifying small issues and resolving them before they become problems. They are keenly attentive to our renters and unfailingly respectful of the home.

 

Renting a house for only a part of the year can create challenges for the owners, as summer rentals result in wear and tear that need attention in the off season.  Seaside cheerfully works with us year-round to maintain and update the house, even when it is not being actively rented. 

 

Lance and Elaine have built a staff that include creative and talented handymen, a meticulous cleaning staff, and a personable, efficient and flexible front office.  They are a delight to work with.

 It brings such a comforting sense of security to realize that the folks overseeing our getaway are treating it with the same care they would their own property. We first connected with Elaine and Lance in 2020 when we were preparing to introduce our newly updated Chincoteague townhome to the vacation rental market. Although we were inexperienced with the process, they not only instilled confidence in us but also made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Now, five years later, with an additional rental property, we still share those sentiments. They have not only maintained our cherished retreats exceptionally well but also ensured that the financial aspects were handled proficiently. Additionally, their staff is equally fantastic, making a trip to their office feel like visiting family. I have recommended Seaside to anyone seeking vacation property management services and will continue to do so!

My husband and I own a unit at Sunset Bay Villas in Chincoteague.  We joined the Seaside Family not long after Lance and Elaine Stitcher started Seaside Vacations.  When we interviewed Lance and Elaine, we immediately hired them.  We were impressed with their business plan for our property and from the start they were extremely responsive to any concerns, questions or suggestions.  Moving our rental management needs to Seaside was one of the best business decisions we have made.  Their staff is friendly and extremely responsive whenever we call.  The cleaning, maintenance, and management of our unit has been top notch all along.   I never worry when we come down for an unexpected visit to our unit.  Everything is immaculately clean and looks fresh and unlived in.  Lance has worked with us to maximize the rental income from our property each year with a dynamic pricing structure.  We would not be happier with Lance and Elaine and the entire Seaside staff.

What an amazing week we had! Everything was wonderful- the cottage has an incredible view and is very clean. The location is great for getting around town and just minutes from the ponies. This was the perfect get away for my sister and me. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at the Hudson House and were very happy. Great home, lots of updates, functional layout for our 2 families and very clean. Loved eating in the screened in porch with family sized dining table. Would stay again.

Our family enjoyed Thanksgiving here and it was a much needed getaway! The sunsets and fire pit made for relaxing evenings. The kayaks were a great plus! Two guys were able to fish in them. The kitchen was well-equipped. Great customer service! We needed extra blankets because it got chilly and they had them to us right away! It’s close to town. We enjoyed the lighting of the Christmas tree and the Chincoteague pony drill team. This was also Waterfowl weekend, so we were able to drive up the service road and see ponies and birds galore! Thanks for a great family vacay!

Our family was looking for a rental home for 5 nights in early December to visit Chincoteague Island. We had never booked with Seaside Vacations, but their response was immediate. We had chosen a perfect home for us (Ariel’s Grotto) available with only a weeks notice. Once booked we were contacted several times leading up to arrival with all information needed. The home was very clean with all of the amenities we needed. The rental price was in the range we were looking for in the off season. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of Seaside Vacations and Ariel’s Grotto.

I had the pleasure of staying at Sunset Bay Villas when I was in town for a job at NASA and was ecstatic with my choice. The condo was very large, spotless and sat right on a dock so we could enjoy the water view and even some duck visitors! The kitchen was more than accommodating and since it was off season came in handy for cooking! The check in/out process is seamless and they even use a texting service which I found handy and less intrusive. We will be back to explore Chincoteague more in the future and will most definitely choose Sunset Bay villa's again!

Our stay at The Pearl at Marsh Island of Chincoteague Island was amazing! 5 star all the way! So close to all the activities that the area has to offer. The rental was decorated in a nautical theme and had everything you'd need to spend a day too 2 weeks with relaxing comfort! We caught crabs off the dock... Cooked them in the well stocked kitchen and ate them while watching the beautiful view of the water which the crabs were just from... It just does not get any better than that! We also loved the near by beaches and the wild horses! Bills steak and seafood restaurant was our favorite place to eat! We'll be back for sure to enjoy the pearl again soon !!

We had a wonderful stay at Ariel’s Grotto! The house was beautiful and convenient. We enjoyed celebrating Christmas there with three generations present and it was truly a cozy home and fit the needs of everyone. I highly recommend!

The good folks at Seaside Vacations are a delight with whom to work — attentive but not overly so, eager help if needed, and willing to do what they can to insure that the customer has a great stay. We will be back.

My wife and I rented a beautiful house on Chincoteague Bay. The house was clean and very well equipped for all of our needs. The staff was professional and responsive to all of our needs and questions. We have never been disappointed when we have stayed stayed at a Seaside home.

We had a great stay at Lance and Elaine's condo. It is a cute and comfortable place. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. We especially enjoyed bird-watching from the balcony and screened porch. Make sure to bring binoculars- the view overlooking the creek is amazing! The house is at the end of a gravel road, so it feels peaceful and secluded, but it's also convenient for getting to the main drag, restaurants, etc. We rented bikes at the bike Depot by the Refuge Inn and rode the trails on Assateague. It was a wonderful weekend. We hope to come stay again!

Captain's Rest is a beautiful, brand new townhome near Chincoteague on Marsh Island. Anyone will be sure to fall in love with this place. With its bright, immaculate, spacious surroundings, this place will surely not disappoint! It has everything you'll desire, from the many amenities, to natural lighting, updated appliances, comfortable beds, open living spaces, and water views surrounding the entire unit, what more can anyone desire. Such a serene, peaceful place! Elaine is awesome! Quick to respond and so very accommodating! We look forward to visiting again!

Elaine has always been a great help to me! She delivers every time and is super nice.

We have stayed in the Mariners Watch the last six summers and I would like to say this is the first we got our keys from a lockbox and it was wonderful. In the past we would drive out of our way many blocks to pick up and return our keys. Thank you for your help with my questions this past weekend.

I spoke with Elaine & Lance a couple times; they were always friendly and helpful; didn't make me feel like a "bother".

Elaine was so very helpful! I had a poor experience with another rental company right before booking with Elaine, and she was very understanding of my questions (and reservations on making sure everything was in order).

Elaine was absolutely fabulous! We had called the office because getting this property was a last minute reservation because we decided to take our dog. Not only did she look up the various properties we were looking at online, she also thought of a recent addition and called the owners to see if it was available to rent. Once we made the reservation, she helped us with things we could do during our stay and even sent us a follow up email with links of more information. She was a huge reason our experience was so enjoyable!
