This house was the perfect size to fit several families (couples and children)! It was clean and well-kept, with all the amenities needed. The washer/dryer is nice to use since beach stuff gets dirty so quickly, and the bathroom and kitchens were nice. The big table in the kitchen was perfect for our whole group to sit at for meals. It’s on an incredibly quiet, dead-end street and just across from the water. It’s walking distance from Assateague and perfect for biking and walking across the bridge. We can definitely see ourselves staying here again.

A great property to stay at. Clean, large rooms with private bathrooms and a perfect location. Daily communication with the hosts was an added plus. I will definitely stay there again.

Sand Dollar was a perfect house for our 3 generation beach trip. We’ve been coming to Chincoteague for almost 20 years and this was one of our favorite houses. Lots of space for family gathering, a screened porch with a huge picnic table, and comfortable beds were some of our favorite features. The granddaughters loved having their own bathroom. And 3 bathrooms and an outside shower were great after a day in the sun and sand. So convenient to the beach too, yet nestled in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We had a herd of deer visit the yard and a Great Horned Owl hooted from the pine trees at night. Highly recommend this place for family vacations! Five stars all the way!

We've been renting houses on Chincoteague Island for about 10 years, initially in the south Ridge Road area and later in the central area. This was our first time renting on Piney Island, which is now our favorite location. The house is nicely set up and very well-supplied for the renters. The kitchen has decent cookware (even crab pots) and tools, and many convenient little appliances. The listing mentions a gas grill (which worked perfectly and had a full tank), and there is also a Weber charcoal grill. There are also some beach supplies (umbrella, chairs) available for use, which was a blessing for us (we'd had to leave some of our stuff at home due to vehicle problems). My teen son loved the Piney Island location because of easy access to the bike lanes to Assateague Island. I rented him a bike from the Bike Depot (just a couple of blocks away), and he spent hours exploring Chincoteague and biking the wildlife loop on Assateague.. The Seaside Vacations staff, both office staff and maintenance crew, clearly want to provide good service to the renters. I reported one maintenance concern during our stay, and it was addressed promptly.

You pull up to a gorgeous house off the main drag. Greeted with birdsong and no traffic noises. You walk into a tastefully decorated immaculate home with an open floor plan. You then walk out to a screened in porch. Or you can poke around the well stocked kitchen. Two bedrooms on the first floor, one queen, the other 2 twins, perfectly set up for children. Upstairs is a big room with a full, a bunk and another twin. Best spot in the house is the master with an incredibly comfortable king bed and a balcony that you want to stay on forever. This home was the nicest I?ve stayed in on the island, and I?m a yearly visitor. Super close to the Refuge, but near to everything. Only thing I hated was leaving. Shoutout to Elaine and the Seaside team. She went above and beyond for us. I will never again book with another agency.

We found this house was perfect for 2 families with children ranging from 2-14. Adequate seating in LR, kitchen and enclosed deck. Kitchen is stocked (I loved the pastel dishware). Beds were suitable for a 1 week vacation. I did wish the back deck had some "comfy" seating instead of just a large picnic table. I'd have zero hesitation to renting this house again. Thank you Seaside!

Sand Dollar is a great rental. Close to Assateague Island, lots of bike trails close. Big bedrooms and having 3 full baths was great. Very comfortable and homey. Large dining table great for family meals and game playing. Everything we needed! Would definitely stay again!! Seaside vacations great to work with as well!!! Awesome family vacation!

Sand Dollar home is in a great location, close to Assateague. Big bedrooms and nice to have 3 bathrooms!! Huge dining table! Comfortable and cozy. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again!! Seaside vacations rentals were great to work with too!
