Captain’s Cove is only 25 short minutes by boat or car from Chincoteague Island and Assateague National Seashore, where our famous Wild Ponies roam free. Chincoteague has been voted Best Small Beach Town and Happiest Seaside Town - after a stay here with us, you will understand why! Whether you’re happiest lounging on the Beach or shellcombing, hiking and searching for Ponies, or enjoying our Fresh Local Seafood - which hopefully you caught - the wild and wonderful ESVA has something for everyone in your family!

And what makes Captain’s Cove so special? The Cove is loaded with family-friendly Amenities - a Golf Course, 2 Outdoor Pools - 1 Bayfront with Tiki Bar, Fitness Center, Playground, Marina, Community Pier for Fishing and Crabbing, Waterfront Restaurant, and Snack Bar. Guests may purchase Amenity Passes by the day or the week at a minimal fee ($15/pp/day or $75/pp/week). If you are arriving within three days of your reservation being made you will unfortunately not be able to purchase passes or use the amenities during your stay. More of a Beach person? One of the most gorgeous, cleanest beaches in America is just 25 minutes away, or take your boat to one of our awesome sand bars for you own private slice of Paradise!

Now, about this Hidden Gem - this spectacular 4 Bedroom Home was Brand New for 2022. Tucked in a quiet, serene wooded location in Captain’s Cove, you’ll feel a million miles away from the real world. Relax in the backyard, frequented by abundant Wildlife, and take in that salty, sweet sea breeze.

You’ll love kicking back in the Living Area at Hidden Gem after a fun-filled day at the Beach or Pools, and enjoying Flat Screen Streaming TV and Free WiFi. Beautifully decorated in Colors of Sand and Sea with a tasteful Coastal Flair, it calls you to relax and sit a spell. The wonderful Open Layout is perfect for spending time together without ever feeling crowded.

Mealtime will be a bay breeze in the well-equipped Kitchen! With Stainless Appliances and tons of space, the Chef in your family will be thrilled. Grab a quick bite at the Breakfast Bar before hitting the Beach, or enjoy a quiet dinner in the Dining Area. And you can dine Al-Fresco in the backyard Dining Area - there’s even a Gas Grill for some cheeseburgers in Paradise. When you want a break from cooking, wander down to The Marina Club Restaurant and dine at the water’s edge, or enjoy some Live Entertainment. Just off the Kitchen is a Sunroom with lovely Wooded Views, just perfect for curling up with a good book. Also on the 1st Floor is a Half Bath, and a Den with a Twin Daybed.

Hidden Gem sleeps 8 (occupancy strictly enforced) in 4 more than comfortable Bedrooms and with 2 Full Baths. Wandering upstairs, Bedroom 1 is a huge Master Bedroom with a comfy Queen Bed, tons of space, and a Flat Screen Streaming TV. The Private Master Bath has a Double Vanity and Walk-in Shower. Down the Hall, Bedroom 2 has a Full Bed with Twin Trundle, and a fun wild pony theme. Bedroom 3 has another Queen Bed, Streaming TV, and is adorned in beachy blues. Bedroom 4 is perfect for the kiddos, and has 2 Twin Beds. There is a 2nd Full Bath with Tub/Shower Combo, as well as an upstairs Laundry Room with Washer and Dryer for your convenience.

A Captain’s Cove getaway is an Experience - play on the Beach or lounge at the Pool with a cocktail. Bring the bikes or hike to the Lighthouse. Fish and Crab from the Community Pier, or just enjoy the kids chasing Lightning Bugs in the backyard. Just simply BE together. Whatever your pleasure - the Eastern Shore is sure to please.

Captain's Cove does not allow arrivals or departures on Sundays. Amenities cannot be guaranteed, and the HOA does not issue refunds on passes due to weather. Amenity Fees subject to change per HOA. Please check with our office for current status. Occupancy of 8 is strictly enforced.
